Turn The Volume Up On A Nokia 1260 Cellphone

It's hard to hear your cellphone in busy offices and airports.

While most of today's cellphones are loaded with features, the Nokia 1260 is ideal for the user who only needs to make calls and send text messages. If you are using the Nokia 1260 in a loud environment, it might be difficult to hear when the phone rings, causing you to miss a call. Noisy areas also make it hard to hear callers when you are talking to them. It is possible to turn up the volume of your phone's ringer, earpiece and keypad tones.

Instructions

1. Turn up the Nokia 1260's earpiece volume, while in a conversation, by pressing the "Scroll Up" key underneath the screen.

2. Increase the phone's ringer volume by pressing "Menu," and then "Options" and "Customize." Select the "Ringing Volume" option, and choose the desired volume from the list.

3. Increase the volume of the keypad tones by pressing "Menu," "Options" and "Customize." Choose "Keypad Tones," and scroll up to set a higher volume.
