Install the Flash Player ActiveX control in Internet Explorer.
ActiveX is a software development framework created by Microsoft. It allows programmers to build features and programs that extend the functionality of the Internet Explorer Web browser. These programs are most commonly added to the browser when a user visits a website that uses an ActiveX control and is prompted to download and install it. Follow the on-screen prompts when you visit the Adobe Flash Player website to install the program on your computer.
Instructions
1. Open an Internet Explorer browser window and navigate to www.adobe.com.
2. Click the "Get Adobe Flash Player" button found on the right-hand side of the screen.
3. Click the yellow "Agree and install now" button.
4. Click the warning box that appears near the top of the browser window and select "Install ActiveX Control."
5. Click "Continue" or "Install" when prompted. The exact label depends on your browser version and your system configuration. Flash Player will begin downloading and installing automatically after you make your selection. The process generally takes less than a minute.
