Change A Ringtone In Windows Mobile

Windows Mobile comes with a number of pre-installed ringtones. You also can create your own ringtones on the phone. User-created ringtones are added to the same folder as the included ringtones. Changing the ringtone is a bit different between non-touch screen and touch screen models, primarily because the user interface is designed differently. Whichever phone you have, you can set a new ringtone in about a minute.

Instructions

Changing the Ringtone on a Touch Screen Windows Mobile Phone

1. Touch the "Windows Mobile" button to open the phone's start menu. Touch the "Phone" icon on the next menu.

2. Tap the "Menu" icon, then select "Options." Touch the "Phone" tab to open the settings menu.

3. Tap "Ring Tones." This brings up a list of the phone's ringtones.

4. Touch the ringtone you want to use. Touch "OK" to save it.
