Resetting the Jawbone 2 is like rebooting your PC.
The Jawbone 2 headset features a number of noise canceling and voice enhancement technologies. This headset can be reset by the user. Resetting this headset does not delete any of the stored data. You will not need to repair this headset after it is reset. Resetting the Jawbone 2 is comparable to rebooting your computer to clear the RAM and restarting your applications for a fresh start. If the Jawbone 2 starts having problems, a simple reset may be just what it needs to regain its usefulness.
Instructions
1. Press and continue holding down the "Talk" button. It makes no difference if the headset is powered on or off when you start the reset process.
2. Connect the headset to the USB charger cable while you continue holding down the "Talk" button. The USB cable must be connected to an active USB port on your PC, or to the Jawbone 2 wall charger unit.
3. Release the "Talk" button when you see the LED turning solid red.
4. Disconnect the headset from the USB charger cable. The headset has now been reset.
