Sync MobileMe and iCal to a BlackBerry
If you use an Apple Mac computer and a BlackBerry, you may want to sync your devices as you would a smart phone and a Windows computer. You can easily sync MobileMe with your BlackBerry by setting it up as an email account on your phone. Similarly, you can use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to sync your iCal events with your BlackBerry calendar.
Instructions
MobileMe
1. Open "Setup" from the Home screen. Open "Email Settings."
2. Select "Add My Existing Email Account." Enter your MobileMe address, but leave your password blank. Select "Next."
3. Choose "I will provide the settings to add this email account." Click "Next." Select "This is my personal email account." Choose "I will provide the settings to add this email account" again and click "Next."
4. Enter your MobileMe user name again. Type in your MobileMe password. Enter "mail.me.com" (without quotes) as the "Mail Server." Enter your "MobileMe" email address. Click "Next."
5. Click "OK" to confirm the setup process.
iCal
6. Connect your BlackBerry to your Mac via USB. The BlackBerry Desktop Manager will automatically open.
7. Click "Calendar." Click "Two Way."
8. Click either "All Calendars" or "Selected Calendars" to sync. If you chose the latter, click the calendars you wish to sync.
9. Choose the calendar where you want to sync BlackBerry events.
10. Click "Sync."
