Remove A Verizon Sim Card

SIM cards contain necessary information for using your cell phone. (Reference 1)


SIM cards contain information that makes switching phones straightforward. When you purchase a new phone, swapping your old SIM card into the new phone will make the setup process much easier. In order to do this, you must first be able to remove the SIM card from your phone.


Instructions


1. Turn off your phone.


2. Determine the location of the SIM card. Most phones store the SIM card in the battery compartment.


3. Remove any covers blocking access to the SIM card.


4. Remove the battery if it is blocking access to the SIM card.


5. Check to see if any clips hold the SIM card in, or prevent its removal.


6. Carefully slide the SIM card out of its slot.


7. Replace any components removed to access the SIM card.
