The Nokia 6288, like so many phones on the market, includes a keyguard lock that can protect the contents of the phone and the privacy of its user. The lock can be turned on and off in just a few steps.
Instructions
Security Keyguard
1. Activate the backlight by pressing any key.
2. Select "Unlock."
3. Press the "*" key.
4. Enter the security code.
Automatic Keyguard
5. Press any key to activate the backlight.
6. Select "Unlock."
7. Press the "*" key within 1.5 seconds.
