Put Jabra Hfs001 Bluetooth In Discoverable Mode

Put Jabra HFS001 Bluetooth in Discoverable Mode

The Jabra HFS001, also called the Cruiser, is a small Bluetooth speaker designed to clip onto you car's visor and allow you to talk on the phone without having to hold your phone to your ear. The HFS001 will let you answer calls, end calls and make calls using your voice, in addition to performing numerous other functions, all without you having to manipulate your phone while you are driving. To connect to your phone, the HFS001 has to go through a pairing process, where the phone will locate the headset and connect with it. In order to be found, the HFS001 has to enter pairing mode, which will allow other devices to see it. Since pairing mode will drain the battery quickly, the headset will only enter the mode under certain conditions.

Instructions

1. Plug the Jabra Cruiser's vehicle power charger into a round power outlet in your car. Plug the other end into the port on the right side of your Cruiser. Allow the HFS001 to charge for at least two hours before putting it into pairing mode.

2. Slide the small switch on the left side of the Cruiser down to turn the unit on.

3. Press and hold the "Answer/End" button, located on the end of the unit that faces the driver when the HFS001 is installed on the visor, for about five seconds. When you hear "Pairing Mode," the speaker is now discoverable by other Bluetooth devices.
