You can silence a cell phone alarm.
All cell phones come with alarms, which are handy for those who need continual reminders for a daily activity such as taking a pill or getting up for work. However, sometimes you want the cell phone not to ring but just to vibrate. Fortunately there's a relatively simple way to make sure your phone doesn't blat out the Miami Vice theme song in the middle of an important meeting.
Instructions
1. Go to the Accessories menu on your cell phone. Click the "OK" button, and that should bring you to your main menu. Use the arrow buttons to click left or right until you find "Accessories." Click "OK" to see the Accessories menu.
2. Scroll down using the up and down arrow keys until you find the alarm accessory function. Click "OK." This will take you into the alarm clock function. You may need to first go into the tools menu to find the alarm function.
3. Set an alarm. If you haven't previously created any alarms then you have a blank sheet. Create an alarm by clicking one of the blank slots, then setting the time and ringer function on the next page. Once you have created the alarm, set it by toggling it to the "On" function.
4. Turn off the ringer. A volume knob or button on the side of your phone lets you turn down the volume until it's on "Vibrate only." If you leave it in that mode, the alarm will go off, but the phone will vibrate in silent mode.
