A Multimedia Card is a storage device that allows you to upload files. MMC cards come in a number of memory sizes, such as 256MB, 1GB and 2GB. Because they are as small as a postcard, they have become the standard for storing information on many portable media players and mobile phones, so you can leave the bulky, large storage devices at home. Uploading and transferring files to your MMC using a computer is a task anyone can do.
Instructions
1. Plug your MMC card into the SD/MMC/SM/MS/MS-PRO slot on your computer. Your computer should automatically recognize it. A window will pop up asking what you want Windows to do; scroll down and select "Open folder to view files." Click "OK" to open and reveal the contents of your MMC card.
2. If your computer did not detect it automatically, double-click "My Computer" on your desktop. You should see your MMC card listed as a removal device together with the CD drives.
3. Double-click your MMC card to open and reveal its contents. Locate files from your computer that you want to transfer to your MMC card, then right-click and click "Copy."
4. Right-click an empty space on your MMC card window, then scroll down and click "Paste" to transfer the file.
5. Drag and drop an item from your card to a location on your computer to transfer it there.
