The Nokia 5165 is a multimedia device you can use to send and receive text messages, access the Internet and use email. The phone is preloaded with media such as wallpaper and ringtones. You can download the default ringtones from the phone to your computer. You do not need to install any special software to download the ringtones. The tones are removed from your Nokia 5165 when they are downloaded to your computer.
Instructions
1. Connect your Nokia 5165 to your computer using a USB cable. Wait for the computer to download and install the drivers for the 5165 on your computer. A confirmation message will be displayed on the computer screen when the installation is complete.
2. Click "Start" and click "Computer." Double-click the icon representing the Nokia 5165 to open the phone's folder on your computer.
3. Double-click "Ringtones" and select the default ringtone to be downloaded from the phone.
4. Drag the ringtone to your computer's desktop and release the ringtone's file. Continue to drag and drop the ringtones until you are finished. Disconnect the phone from the computer.
