The Nokia 6126 is a mobile phone available on several cellular networks. Its features include many of the elements common to other cellular phones, such as text messaging, picture messaging and a media player. Unfortunately, some users of the phone may run into an issue where the screen becomes white after attempting to send a multimedia message. This situation may occur due to a variety of changes to the messaging settings or the installation of a problematic theme. Performing a factory reset on the device resolves this issue.
Instructions
1. Turn off the phone and remove the back case.
2. Remove the battery, and then reinsert the battery. Removing the battery will return the phone to an operational state, allowing you to navigate the menu options.
3. Replace the back cover and turn on the phone.
4. Press the "Menu" button.
5. Scroll to the "Settings" option and select it.
6. Select the "Reset Device" option.
7. Press "12345" when prompted for the security code. The phone will now be restored to its factory settings, resolving the white screen problem.
