The Samsung Reality cellphone requires a computer connection to import pictures taken with the phone's 3.2 megapixel camera. A USB data cable is supplied with the phone so you can connect it to your computer. You must adjust the phone settings so that the computer recognizes the phone.
Instructions
1. Pull open the USB port cover on the upper left side of the Samsung Reality and plug the mini-USB end of the USB cable into the port.
2. Plug the standard size end of the USB data cable into an open USB port on your computer.
3. Touch the "Menu" icon on the Samsung Reality screen and then touch "Settings & Tools," "Tools" and "USB Mass Storage." The Reality screen changes to "Connected to the PC. Calls Disabled," and a "Removable Disc" window will appear on the screen.
4. Click "Open Folder to View Files Using Windows Explorer" and then click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window. A new window labeled "Removable Disc" will appear on the screen. You will see several folders in the window.
5. Double-click the "my_pix" folder to view pictures taken on your Samsung Reality.
6. Right-click the picture you want to transfer to your computer and select "Copy." If you want to copy multiple pictures at once, hold the "CTRL" button on your keyboard and click each picture you want to transfer. Once all of the pictures you want to transfer are highlighted, right-click one of the pictures and select "Copy."
7. Right-click the folder on your computer where you want to store your pictures and select "Paste" from the pop-up menu.
8. Tap "Disconnect" on the phone screen when you are finished transferring your pictures and then tap "Yes." Once disconnected, you can remove the USB cable from the phone.
