You can change the video settings on your phone to make longer recordings.
Many cell phones have the capacity to take video recordings using a built-in camera. Recording time and video quality varies from model to model, but often you can send the recording to a contact on your phone or upload it to your computer. While some phones have a slot for an external memory card to expand video time, the majority do not. However, most phones have a setting that allows you to sacrifice quality for more video time. You can quickly change this setting and begin taking longer videos.
Instructions
1. Press the "Settings" button on your phone. For some models you may need to enter into "Video Mode" first.
2. Scroll through the settings and locate "Video Resolution." Press "OK" to enter this setting.
3. Change the video quality to a smaller resolution. For example, if it is currently set at "320x240," change it to "176x144." There may be more than two resolutions, so the smaller the number, the longer your video recording time will be. This also reduces the size and quality of the video.
