Download Jar Files To A Mobile

JAR is an archive file format. This format can be used to store many other much larger files inside of it, including games and programs. If you have a game or a program that you want to load onto your mobile cellphone, you may have to download the file onto your device before you can unpack it onto the phone.

Instructions

1. Install all drivers for your phone onto your computer. Drivers will help your computer recognize your phone when you hook it up. Insert any CD that came with your phone into your CD drive and follow the installation instructions that come up on screen.

2. Hook up your USB cord to your computer and mobile phone. This cord should have been included when you bought your cell phone.

3. Choose the folder option when your computer automatically recognizes your mobile and gives you a list of options. This should open the folder space on your cell.

4. Locate your JAR file on your computer. Click on the file, and drag it over to the folder you just opened on your cellphone. The JAR file should download into your cell.
