The Nokia E71 is a smartphone that comes with a rechargeable and replaceable battery. Nokia states that it is mainly designed for business, with high-speed downloads, faster messaging and email. If your phone is running low on power or completely dead, charging it will increase or restore talk and usage time. Charging the lithium-ion battery on your cell phone is a quick and simple process.
Instructions
1. Turn your Nokia E71 cell phone around to expose the back side.
2. Press the release buttons and lift the back cover off. You should see the battery compartment. You should also see the SIM card slot.
3. Insert your SIM card into its slot. Insert the battery into the compartment making sure the metal contacts on the battery align to the metal contacts in the compartment.
4. Close the back cover and connect your charger to an electrical outlet. Connect the power chord on the charger to the power slot on the bottom of your Nokia E71. Within seconds, the charging indicator appears on your phone's screen.
5. Disconnect the charger when the indicator is full.
