Gizmo lets you make phone calls over the Internet, but it is easy to remove the program.
Gizmo is a VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) service that allows users to make and receive phone calls from their computers. Google purchased the company, but two years later decided to end the service. Users had to download software to use Gizmo, and now that Google has discontinued the service, many users no longer need the program. Removing Gizmo from the computer is easy to do and frees up space on the hard drive.
