Jabra Bluetooth headsets are available in a number of different styles; most are compatible with any Bluetooth phone. Using a Jabra headset with your phone allows you to be hands-free while remaining wireless. In order for your calls to be routed to the Jabra headset, the phone and headset must be within 33 feet of one another--the maximum transmitting range for Bluetooth. You'll also need to set up the headset by pairing it to your phone. Charge your headset fully before you begin.
Instructions
1. Turn your phone on and open the main menu. Choose "Settings" or "Tools," then select "Bluetooth." Choose "Power" and select "On." Place your phone close to your headset--within a few feet for best results.
2. Ensure your headset is powered off--indicator lights will be dark. Press and hold the center "On/Off" button ("Answer/End" button for some devices). Release the button after several seconds and when the indicator light stays solidly lit. The headset is in pairing mode.
3. Open your phone's Bluetooth settings menu again. Select "Add New Device" or "Search." Allow your phone to locate your headset. This can take a few seconds.
4. Select the name of your headset from the list of discovered devices. Press "OK" or "Pair." You will be prompted for a pass code--type in "0000" and press "OK." Your phone will confirm successful pairing and automatically connect to your headset.
