Sometimes you need to make a phone call but find yourself without a phone available or a phone without long distance. This can be quite frustrating, especially when trying to talk to your loved ones far away. Instead, you can use your PC to place a phone call to their mobile phone cheaply.
Instructions
1. Log on to a messaging program that allows you to make calls to cell phones from your computer, like Yahoo! Messenger, iCall or Skype. If you do not have these, you will need to download one of these and register to make a phone call.
2. Click the button that will call a phone. Each program does this slightly differently, but most have a button that states "Call a phone" or something similar.
3. Type in the mobile number, including the area code. You will need the full 10-digit phone number in order to properly call the number.
4. Press the button that states "Call." This will start the phone call with your computer.
