Obtaining a free unlock code for your cell phone is a daunting task, especially for newer cell phone models like Nokia N95 8GB. Network carriers are reluctant to give away free unlock codes, and you need to talk a customer services representative into disclosing the unlock code.
Instructions
1. Call the customer care line of the cellular network provider with which your Nokia N95 is locked.
2. Ask the customer services representative for an unlock code for your Nokia N95 cell phone. The person will most likely ask you for the phone's IMEI number, which you can find out under the phone's battery. It should be printed on a small sticker with a label "IMEI" or "SN."
