The Nokia E65 cell phone allows users to configure profiles for use in various circumstances. Users can select the specific setting for such things as ring tone, ring volume, keypad tones, alert tones and several other settings. Once a profile has been configured, changing profiles requires nothing more than pressing the power button and selecting the desired profile.
Instructions
1. Press the phone's "Menu" key to access the main menu. Use the "Scroll" pad keys to select the "Tools" menu. On the "Tools" menu select "Profiles." The phone will display a list of profiles currently on the phone.
2. Select one of the profiles using the "Scroll" pad. Press the center key of the "Scroll" pad to open the submenu. Select "Options." To edit the selected profile, select "Personalize" from the options menu. To create a new profile, select "Create New" from the options menu.
3. Select the setting you want to change from the list and press the center "Scroll" pad key. Make the desired changes and press the right "Selection" key. Continue through all settings you wish to change. Once you are finished, press the right "Selection" key to return to the profile list.
4. Select the profile you want to be active by pressing the center "Scroll" pad key. Select "Options" and "Activate." The selected profile will now be active until you change it.
