Save photos from an email in just a few clicks.
Most Internet connections and email programs have no problem receiving multiple electronic images, but you may want to access the images offline, too. Transferring a picture from an email to your computer for storage is a simple task you can accomplish in one of two ways. You can use the second method to save any pictures from the Internet, not just from email.
Instructions
1. Open the email containing the picture you want to save.
2. Find the attachments. These are files attached to the email, such as photos and text documents. They are usually listed somewhere outside the main body of the email.
3. Click the attachment file you want to save, or click "Save" next to it. Pictures have a file extension such as JPG, GIFor PNG. In Windows Live Mail, download a photo by clicking "File," then "Save attachments."
4. Find the folder you want to save the picture to, such as "My Pictures," and click "Save."
5. Right-click the image in the email if it is not listed as an attachment. Select "Save picture as," locate a folder, and click "Save" to store the image onto your computer.
