Unlock Private Calls

Find out who's behind the next private call you receive.

Seeing "Private caller" come up on your phone doesn't mean that the caller's name can't be found. Services are available to help you catch prank callers, telemarketers and others you don't want calling. A "Bug Trap" from Trapcall.com unmasks private callers at a cost of $4.95 a month. It works on any phone in the United States using AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon or Sprint carriers. However, a new service at Spoofcard.com, provided also by the creators of Trapcall.com, allows callers to buy credits and change who they appear to be when they ring your phone.

Instructions

With Trap Call

1. Navigate to Trapcall.com (see Resources for a link to the prices and sign-up page).

2. Click on "Select Bug Trap" for $4.95 a month.

3. Enter in your phone number, carrier information and select a PIN.

4. Enter in your name, email address and payment information. After processing your payment, the service will be activated on your phone.

5. Follow the company's instructions for rejecting future private calls. Reject private calls when they come to your phone and this will send the call to Trapcall.com, which will unmask them and send them back to your phone.
