Most every cell phone user customizes her ringtones, and a variety of ways exist to do it. You can download ringtones from the Internet or your cell phone service provider, have them texted to you via other cell phone users, download them from another device via Bluetooth, and transfer them via an external microSD memory card. If you want to make your own ringtones, though, you can convert and download music to ringtones with the aid of a free online ringtone maker.
Instructions
1. Navigate to an online ringtone maker, and upload your music by clicking on "Upload" to select the music file of which you wish to make a ringtone.
2. Click on the image of your music file to set the beginning and ending markers for the clip you wish to use as your ringtone.
3. Click the "Selected" button to play the clip you set, and then click "Make Ringtone" to generate your ringtone. A pop-up window will appear containing your ringtone; click "Download" to download your ringtone.
