Convert your amr to MP3 audio files.
An .amr file is an audio file used by telephones that are on the GSM network (namely AT&T). The audio file, while used by phones, is not readily-used by video editors and media players. If you want to play an .amr file on your computer you most likely need to convert it to a more popular audio files, such as MP3. This allows you to upload the audio file to your mobile MP3 devices.
Instructions
1. Launch your Internet browser and make your way to a site such as "AMRtoMP3Converter.com," "Wav-MP3.com" and "AMR-MP3.net." These are three different sites that provided audio converters, all of which function in a similar manner.
2. Download one of the audio converter programs, then double-click the downloaded file to initiate the installation process. Follow the prompts of the installation wizard when it loads to install the software.
3. Launch the audio converter (you can find it under "Start," "All Programs," then click your new audio converter).
4. Click "Add File." A search window appears. Select the .amr file you want to convert and click "OK."
5. Chose "MP3" as the audio file you want to convert to and click "Convert." The .amr file converts to MP3.
