Adobe PDFs (Portable Document Format) are a common way to display and exchange information over several platforms and mediums including e-mail, web sites and even mobile phones. More than 250 million PDF documents are printed, stored and transmitted around the world with ease. You can read PDFs on many makes and models of mobile phones with a reader provided by Adobe Systems that is uniquely designed for cell phones.
Instructions
1. Visit get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions.
2. Select "Mobile" under the heading "Select an operating system," then click "Continue."
3. Click on the icon of the brand of mobile phone you have under the heading "Choose Your Device."
4. Click on the icon of the model of phone you have under the heading "Device Selection."
5. Click on "Adobe Reader LE 2.5" at the bottom of the screen to select the Adobe Reader for your mobile phone. If the message "This product is not available for your selected device or platform" appears, then your model of mobile phone cannot accept the Adobe Reader.
6. Click "Buy Now" to purchase the Adobe Reader LE 2.5, or click "Free Trial" to try the Adobe Reader before purchasing it.
7. If you chose the free trial, enter your e-mail address and name on the "Trial" screen. Click "Submit Info." Then click "Download File Here" to download the free trial software. Save the file to your computer desktop.
8. Connect the mobile phone transfer cable that came with your phone to the computer, and the other end to your mobile phone.
9. Open the mobile phone's communication software and upload the saved file from your desktop to your phone. Follow your specific phone's instructions to upload.
Continue with the setup of the Adobe Reader LE 2.5 software on your mobile phone once the upload is complete.
10. If you chose to purchase the software, click on on your credit type on the "Order Summary" screen. Complete the order transaction and download the software to your computer desktop.
11. Follow Steps 8 and 9 above to complete the upload process.
