You can receive personal email on your T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve phone. When you sync it to your email accounts, which you can do by using a computer or the phone itself, you will receive the email on the phone within minutes of it entering your online mailbox. This is an advantage for any busy person.

Phone
1. Select "Email Settings" on the home screen, and then click "Add."
2. Choose your email provider from the list. Click "Other" if it is not listed. Click "Next."
3. Enter your email address and password, and click "Next." Click "OK" on the final screen.
Computer
4. Log in to your T-Mobile BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) account.
5. Click "Create New Account" if you do not have a BIS account, and follow the prompts. Enter your phone's PIN and IMEI/ESN numbers (these are located under the battery of your phone), and click "Continue." Create a username and password, and click "Next."
6. Enter an email address and password that you want to add to your BlackBerry. Click "Next" to set up the email account.
