Send An Mms Via Gprs

MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging Service. This service allows cell phone users to share pictures, animations, videos and audio clips with other cell phone users. You can send MMS between the same or different network carriers. Most modern cell phones support this service, but you have to get your network carrier to provide you with the appropriate "MMS settings" first.

Instructions

1. Contact your network carrier and ask it for MMS settings for your particular handset. Some carriers also provide this information on their website. For example, if you have an AT&T phone, go to its website, log in and open the "Tutorials" page, where you can find the MMS/GPRS settings for your cell phone.

If your carrier doesn't provide this information on its website, call customer service to get the information.

2. Press the "Menu" key on the phone.

3. Go to "Messaging."

4. Select "New Message" or "Compose New."

5. Select "Multimedia Message" or "MMS."

6. Enter the recipient's phone number in the "To" field, or select a person from your "Contacts" list.

7. Enter a subject for the message in the "Subject" field.

8. Type your text message in the message field. You can leave the field empty if you don't want to write a message to the recipient.

9. Select the option "Insert Object" or "Choose File" and select a file from your phone such as an image, video or audio clip.

10. Select "Send."
