Samsung Bluetooth headsets are available in a variety of styles. Regardless of the Samsung headset model you own, you'll need to set it up with your phone before you can begin using it. Set up is accomplished by pairing the headset and phone -- this creates a trusted connection and allows the devices to communicate wirelessly. If you've never used your Samsung headset, be sure to charge the battery fully before you begin the steps for pairing.
Instructions
1. Unplug your headset from the charging source -- do not turn the headset on yet.
2. Power off any devices you have previously paired with the headset. Turn on the device you wish to pair with the headset and ensure Bluetooth power is set to on.
3. Press and hold the headset's "Call" or "Multi-Function" button -- located on the front of the device and marked with a phone icon. Release the button when the indicator light remains solidly lit. The headset is now in pairing mode.
4. Select "Bluetooth" from your phone's menu and choose "Add New" or "Search."
5. Select the name of the Samsung headset from the list of discovered devices. Press "OK" and enter "0000" when prompted for the pass code. Press "OK."
