Uninstall Programs On Windows Mobile 6 1

Remove user-installed programs from your Windows smartphone.

Smartphones are a lot like full-sized computers -- they have processors, storage and memory, and use operating systems and individual programs. And just like with computers, you may sometimes want to remove programs that you don't use or need from your smartphone. Windows Mobile 6.1 includes a built-in program manager that makes removing user-installed applications simple. You can uninstall the programs that were installed after you bought your phone, but in most cases you can't remove the ones that are built-in to the operating system.

Instructions

1. Turn on your phone and remove the stylus. Tap the "Start" button, then "Settings."

2. Tap the "System" tab, then tap the "Remove Programs" button. Tap the application you want to remove, or use the directional buttons to highlight it.

3. Tap the "Remove" button. Wait for the removal process to finish. Repeat these steps for all unwanted programs that appear in the "Remove Programs" list.
