Switching a Bluetooth device from one phone to another is fairly simple.
Bluetooth headsets allow cell phone owners to typically keep their phones in their pockets or purses and simply converse using only the headset. Although you do need to pair a Bluetooth device with the phone for which it is being used, this does not mean that you cannot pair it with another cell phone at a later time --- even if it has already been paired with a previous phone. Each cell phone has its own method that you need to follow to pair a device, but the general process is the same for most phones.
Instructions
1. Turn the Bluetooth headset off by pressing the button on the side of the device.
2. Press and hold the button for about eight seconds. A flashing blue light appears.
3. Press "Menu" on your cell phone and press "Setup."
4. Select "Bluetooth" or "Connect." The phone locates the Bluetooth device, and a screen appears that asks if you want to pair the device with your phone.
5. Press "Yes" or "OK."
6. Enter the passkey or the PIN. This number is usually "0000" or "0001." The Bluetooth device has now been switched to the new phone.
