Plantronics Bluetooth headsets can be connected with your mobile phone, allowing you to talk hands-free while you're doing other activities, such as driving. Before you can use a Plantronics headset, you have to first pair it with your mobile phone, a process that only takes a few minutes.
Instructions
1. Power on your Plantronics headset and place it near your mobile phone.
2. Go into the "Settings" menu of your mobile phone and select "Bluetooth" from the available options.
3. Select "Search for new devices" from your phone's Bluetooth menu to initiate the search for your Plantronics headset.
4. Select the headset from the list of devices that appears. Your phone will list all Bluetooth-enabled devices that are turned on and nearby.
5. Enter the pairing code for your Plantronics headset into your mobile phone. The pairing code is a series of letters and numbers printed on a sticker that is attached to your headset.
6. Start using your Plantronics headset with your phone. Your headset will always be connected to your phone and can answer or place calls as long as it is powered on and near your phone.
