Nokia 1100
allows you to customize the ringtones for different environments and events. It allows you to change your profile to "Silent," where your phone stays silent when you receive a call. You can easily change the "Silent" profile to "General" to turn on the ringtone again. If you had disabled the ringtone altogether, you can enable it by going to the tones settings. The phone offers a good collection of built-in ringtones from which to select for incoming voice calls.
Instructions
Method 1
1. Press the "Power" key when the phone is in standby mode.
2. Scroll to "General" in "Profiles."
3. Select "OK."
Method 2
4. Press the "Menu" button.
5. Select "Tones."
6. Choose "Incoming Call Alert." This defines how your Nokia 1100 notifies you when you get an incoming voice call.
7. Choose "On" instead of "Off" in the sub-menu of "Incoming Call Alert." This will cancel out the "Silent" profile that was selected on the phone earlier.
