Remove Facebook From Blackberry Curve
Facebook, a social networking site that hosts millions of users, is extremely popular. For some people, it's an easy way to keep in contact with friends and family. For others, it's a fun time distracter that features old classmates and cute web games. Many users spend several hours a day on the networking site and like being able to receive notifications and messages through their BlackBerry Curve. That's what makes the Facebook application so popular for the BlackBerry Curve. However, there may come a time when you need to remove the program. To do so, you need to access the service books of your BlackBerry Curve.
Instructions
1. Turn on your BlackBerry Curve. Navigate to the applications page and scroll down to Options. Click the wrench icon. Choose "Advanced Options" and then click "Service Book."
2. Scroll down the list until you see "Facebook" and highlight it. Hit the menu key (located between the green call button and the trackball.) A side menu will pop up. Scroll down the menu and click "Delete."
3. Restart your BlackBerry Curve. If you don't receive a screen prompt to do so, turn over your BlackBerry Curve and remove the battery. After 20 seconds, replace the battery and turn your BlackBerry Curve back on. The Facebook application should be removed from the applications page.
