Make A Threeway Video Call With Skype

Skype allows you to video chat with others using your computer.

Skype is a program that allows you to video chat with your friends and family over the Internet. It is also possible to make conference-style video calls with up to four people while using Skype. Whether you are interested in setting up a conference call or simply video chatting with multiple friends, three-way video calling is available to anyone with a Skype account. The service, called Group Video Calling, requires you and those who you wish to chat with to have Skype version 5.0 or higher and a Windows operating system.

Instructions

1. Open the Skype program by double-clicking on the icon on your Windows-based desktop. Enter your user name and password to log into your account. Click on "New" and choose "New Group Conversation" from the menu.

2. Open the "All Contacts" tab. Drag and drop the names of the two people that you want to add to the three-way call into the empty group pane. Note that you can add up to four other people into your group video call.

3. Click on "Video Call" to initiate the Skype video call. Add others to your three-way call, if you wish, by clicking on the "Add People" icon. Note that anyone who you add to your group call must have Skype version 5.0 or higher installed.
