Even though the WEP200 and the Stripe are both made by Samsung, you have to complete the same process to pair them as with any other Bluetooth and phone combination. When a Bluetooth device broadcasts information, it can be received by every Bluetooth device in the area. However, only a paired device knows the encryption code that is required to understand the information sent.
Instructions
Pair Headset
1. Press and hold the multi-function button on the WEP200 headset for four seconds. A blue light on the headset will flash four times. If you only see the light flash twice, press and hold the multi-function button for four seconds again. Release the button after you see the flashes.
2. Hold the multi-function button down for about eight seconds. When you see the light on the headset turn a solid blue, release the button.
3. Press the left soft key on the Stripe to open the menu. Then scroll to "Settings" and press "OK."
4. Scroll to the "Bluetooth" menu and press "OK." Press "OK" again and then scroll to "On" and press "OK" to turn Bluetooth on. Press the back button to go back on screen.
5. Select "My Devices" from the list and then scroll to "Search New Device" and press "OK." The Stripe will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
6. Scroll the list of Bluetooth devices and highlight "WEP200." Press "OK" to start the pairing process. Enter "0000" when you are asked for a pass code. Your Stripe is now paired with your WEP200.
