Clean a Flat-Screen Plasma TV
Plasma flat-screen televisions are expensive pieces of equipment. They provide beautiful picture quality and fingerprints can be an annoyance while watching your television. Dust and dirt will need to be removed as well to maintain the perfect picture. Before you attempt cleaning your plasma television screen, it's best to consult your owner's manual for any special instructions provided by the manufacturer. Cleaning the screen should be done gently and with precise care. Purchase a plasma television cleaning kit at your local electronics store to assist with cleaning.
Instructions
1. Turn the power to the flat-screen plasma television off. Disconnect the power by unplugging the unit. This will avoid any electrical shock.
2. Soak a soft cloth in warm water. Be sure to use a lint-free cloth. Wipe dirt and dust away from the case of the television.
3. Rinse and ring out the cloth well to ensure all dirt and dust is off of cloth. Gently wipe the plasma television screen to remove smudges and dirt.
4. Spray some solution provided in the cleaning kit for stubborn areas and gently wipe the area.
5. Use a dry soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the plasma screen dry.
