The iPhone is a smartphones developed and designed by Apple. Along with the built-in iPod music player, video playback and complete photo album support, you can set up a range of push email services so that your emails get forwarded to you as soon as they are delivered. To set up email accounts with your iPhone, you are recommended to check the email account provider for any additional support that they might be able to provide. Setting up Gmail on the iPhone requires a change to the web-based settings, and then set up on the phone.
Instructions
1. Sign in to your Gmail account on a computer. Click "Settings," then "Forwarding and POP/IMAP." Click the "Enable IMAP" radio button, followed by "Save Changes."
2. Click "Settings" on your iPhone, then click "Mail, Contacts, Calendars."
3. Click "Add Account," then click "Gmail" from the list of options.
4. Enter your account information (email address including "@gmail.com" and password) and click "Next."
5. Click "Save" to save changes and complete setting up your Gmail email address on your iPhone.
