successfully use WinRAR to extract file folders in Windows.
If you download files from websites and email, you will eventually come across a compressed file. In an effort to conserve both bandwidth and disk space, file compression is often used. To open these files you need a utility that can decompress them. WinRAR is a file archive utility developed by a software company called RARLAB. The main function and purpose of WinRAR is to both compress and decompress archived files. WinRAR is available in nearly forty languages and is freely available on a trial basis. WinRAR is also available for both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. Prior to downloading and installing you will need to determine which version you have.
