Unlock A Verizon Cell Phone For Free

Unlock Verizon prepaid phone

If your contract phone is broken, you can use an Inpulse Verizon phone and unlock it to use on your contract. This is secret that is kept hush, hush. Verizon doesn't want you to know that you can do this, they want you to pay $300 for a new phone. Follow these simple steps to unlock a Verizon Inpulse phone for a contract.

Instructions

1. First you will need to get a Verizon Inpulse phone that you want to unlock. These can be bought at most retail stores in your area. They are as cheap as $19, and go up to over a hundred dollars.

2. Open the phone and locate the serial number on the phone. You will need this to unlock and activate the phone. Go to www.verizonwireless.com. Select "support" at the top of the screen and select "phones and devices".

3. On the left hand side of the page, under "Phone actions" click on "Activate phone". You will then need to sign in your account to input the serial number. If you have trouble with this online, simply call Verizon and tell them you just got your new phone and want to activate it on your contract. Do not tell them it is a prepaid phone or that you want to "unlock it". They will refuse to activate it. If you already have a prepaid Inpulse phone that has been activated, you will have to wait 6 months before you can unlock it and switch it to a contract phone. You will also have to pay the activation fee for the phone, which is still beats paying $300 for a new phone.
