There are several advantages of unlocking a mobile phone. Instructions
Mr Unlock
1. Open your web browser and navigate to the Mr Unlock website (see Resources for link).
2. Select "Nokia" as manufacturer and "N90" as model, then select your country and your phone's original network.
3. Click the "Find Unlock Solutions" button.
4. Click the "Order Now" button next to the listed unlocked solution. Enter your phone's IMEI number here and click the "Add to Cart" button.
5. Enter your billing details and proceed to check out. You will be sent the unlock code through email after you have paid the required fee.
6. Input the unlock code into your Nokia N90.
GSM Liberty
7. Go to the website GSM Liberty to get your unlock code. See Resources for link to the website.
8. Select "Nokia" and "N90" from the lists of manufacturers and models respectively and click the "Unlock my Phone" button.
9. Enter your Nokia N90's IMEI number on the next page and click "Add to Cart" button. As of August 2010, you can purchase an unlock code for Nokia N90 from this website for $29.99.
10. Select the payment option on the next page and enter your billing information. When you're done, click the "Buy Now" button. Go ahead and pay the fee, after which you will get the unlock code plus unlocking instructions on your email address.
11. Insert the unlock code in your Nokia N90 mobile phone to unlock it.
Nokia Unlocking
12. Visit the Nokia Unlocking website. See Resources for link to the website.
13. Choose "N90" from the "Model Quick Select" list. Alternatively, you can also type "N90" in the "Search" field and click the "Fid" button.
14. Select your country and the phone's network on the next page. Then click the "Order Now" button. Type in the phone's IMEI number and click the "Add to Cart" button.
15. Click the "Check Out" button, enter the billing details and make the payment. You will receive the unlock code and unlocking instructions within seven to ten days, as per website instructions.
16. Enter the code into your phone to unlock it.
