Connect the Bluetooth Earpiece to Mobile
Bluetooth technology can make cell phones safer for use in driving, easier to use around the house or at work, and more convenient for those on the go. Many varieties are now available, ranging in style from designer chic, to practical and low-budget. Although each phone and Bluetooth earpiece is different, connecting them is a basic task, and you can connect your mobile to your Bluetooth ear piece in no time.
Instructions
1. Remove your Bluetooth device from the packaging and read setup instructions. Ensure that both your phone and your earpiece are charged and turned on.
2. In your mobile phone, locate the "Setup" menu or "Options", and open the option for Bluetooth setup. Note that only phones that specifically support Bluetooth can use this feature. In the Bluetooth menu, make sure that Bluetooth is enabled. Turn on Bluetooth capabilities and, if prompted, make your phone discoverable.
3. With your Bluetooth enabled, click on "Add Device". If given the option between "search" or "listen" for a Bluetooth device, select "search". Press the button on your Bluetooth earpiece to make it discoverable, or follow package instructions to be sure your earpiece is ready to be connected. Wait for your phone to recognize the signal from your headset, at which time your mobile should notify you of a successful connection or prompt you to confirm. Follow the instructions on your phone to finish and save the connection, to automatically connect to this device in the future.
