Download Skype to a Nokia E63
Nokia E63 is a cell phone that uses Symbian operating system. In order to use Skype on your phone and make Skype calls, you need to install the Symbian version of Skype, which is readily available on the Internet.
Instructions
1. Click the link in Resources to download Skype for Nokia E63.
2. Click on the link "Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 Devices." This link in under the heading "Supported phones and download links."
3. Click "Save" on the download file window. Choose the destination folder. The file will then start downloading.
4. Check if your phone memory has 6 MB of free space. If not, delete some files to make sufficient space for Skype.
5. Power on your Nokia E63 Bluetooth.
6. Select the downloaded Skype file on your computer. Right-click it and select "Send" via Bluetooth. Your computer will look for available Bluetooth devices.
7. Select your cell phone from the list of available devices. If your phone and computer have never been paired before, it will probably ask for a passcode. You can enter any four digits; however, make sure that the passcode is identical on both Bluetooth devices. The file will then start transferring to your phone.
8. Save it on the main memory of your phone once it finishes the transfer.
9. Open Skype on your phone. You will then be notified on use this application. It will also ask for permission to access wireless connectivity and mobile Internet.
