Make Calls For Cheap With Google Voice

Google Voice is a phone service offered by Google. As of May 2011, Google Voice allows you to make free phone calls to any phone number in the United States. Sign up for a free Google account before making phone calls with Google Voice.


Instructions


1. Open your Internet browser and navigate to the Gmail website.


2. Click the "Create an account" button and set up your account by providing particulars, such as your first and last name. Select your desired log-in name and password. Select a security question and type the answer to this question. Enter the security code as given in the image. Accept Google's terms and conditions by clicking the "I accept. Create my account." button.


3. Integrate Google Voice with your Gmail account. Click "Install voice and video chat" to set up Google Voice in your Gmail account.


4. Navigate to the Gmail website and log into your account by entering your email address and password.


5. Click the "Call phone" link in the "Chat" window at the bottom left of your Gmail account. The "Call" application launches in a new window.


6. Dial the phone number using the keypad given in the "Call" application. Click the "Call" button to place the phone call.
