Convert An Mp3 File To An Amr File Online

Media-Convert

To convert an MP3 file to an AMR file online, a web-based audio conversion application may be used. A popular online audio conversion program named Media-Convert is freely available. The site is supported by banner advertising and as a result is 100 percent free to use for file conversions. Media-Convert offers a broad selection of source and destination audio file types from which to choose. In addition, several audio options may be configured, such as audio encoding and volume, as well as several tagging options (e.g., track, title, artist). Instructions for using the tool are located at the bottom of the web page under the application input boxes.

Instructions

1. Open a web browser and enter the Media-Convert URL in the address bar (see Resources).

2. Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the desired source file to enter the audio file to be converted. The file information for audio file to be converted will be entered into the input box on the left side of the screen.

3. Check the input file type in the box marked "Input Format" on the right side of the screen. The input file type should automatically display according to the source file's file type listed in the input box on the left.

4. Select the Output File Type from the drop-down list on the bottom left-hand side of the window. The output file type is the file type the new file will be once converted.

5. Configure any additional audio settings in the Advanced Settings box under the file input areas.

6. Click "OK" on the bottom right-hand side of the screen, underneath the Input Format box. A progress bar will display during the file conversion.

7. Navigate to the new file and test it in a compatible audio player once it is converted and saved.
