Restore Programs On A Nokia 5300

The Nokia 5300, displayed on the right, weighs in at 106 grams.

Program and file system restoration is a valuable practice for a number of reasons; it can restore stability to your device while offering greater personal security by wiping sensitive user data. Announced in 2006, the Nokia 5300 is a music-centric device with a 256,000 color TFT (thin-film transistor) display, a microSD card slot, and over nine days of standby battery life. It is fairly easy to restore the programs on a Nokia 5300 through the user menu. The program-restoration process requires no additional input and uses files already present on the device.

Instructions

1. Select "Menu."

2. Select "Settings."

3. Select "Restore Factory Settings."

4. Enter the security code when prompted. The default code is "12345."

5. Wait for the Nokia 5300 to finish restoring your applications to the original factory settings.
