Install Phoenix Service Software

Flashing phones like this one with the Phoenix Service Software is not a difficult process.

The Phoenix Service Software package is a series of programs that are designed for Nokia cell phone owners to be able to fully "flash" their phones, allowing for custom firmware to be loaded onto the phone as well as for a variety of options to be added, removed or tweaked. Installing Phoenix Service Software on your computer is not a difficult task, though it can be tedious and must be done in a particular order.

Instructions

1. Download the Phoenix Service Software. Because this is not an officially licensed product, you may have some difficulty finding it. Once you've found it, open the folder you've downloaded and move the .MSI files to your desktop.

2. Install both "MSXML6_X86" and "VCREDIST_X86" if this is the first time you've used the Phoenix Service Software. If you've used it before, go to Step 3.

3. Install the "Nokia_Connectivity_Cable_Driver," "Nokia_Flashing_Cable_Driver" and "Nokia_Service_Tool_Drivers," in that order. If you experience an error message during any of the installations, install "FLS-4Drv1.34" to correct the error.

4. Double click on "Phoenix_Service_Software" to install it to your computer.
