Unlock a Nokia 6210
Unlike most Nokia cell phones, the Nokia 6210 can be unlocked with a free code. A free unlock code generator can generate an unlock code specific to your Nokia 6210 based on its IMEI number, an ID number that's unique to each cell phone.
Instructions
1. Go to a website that offers a free unlock code generator for Nokia cell phones (see Resources).
2. Select Nokia 6210 from the list of cell phone models.
3. Enter the phone's IMEI number when prompted. If you don't know the IMEI number, you can find it out by typing "*#06#" on the phone's keypad.
4. Note the unlock codes the site provides.
5. Turn off the phone and remove the SIM card (located behind the battery).
6. Turn the phone on and type "#PW+CODE+1#" (replacing "CODE" with one of the unlock codes).
7. Try a different code from the list if the first code doesn't work. You can try up to five different codes. After the phone is unlocked, the phone's screen should read "SIM Restriction Off."
