Uninstall Google Maps Mobile
Google Maps Mobile is a software program designed for cell phones that provides GPS directions. It displays street views, business listings, traffic and latitude in real time. However, if you are not using this program, you can uninstall it from your mobile device.
Instructions
Windows Mobile Devices
1. Go to the "Start" menu on your phone and select "Settings".
2. Access the "Systems" tab and select "Remove Programs".
3. Scroll down the list of installed programs and select "Google Maps". Click "Remove" and confirm, then click "Done".
BlackBerry Cell Phones
4. Select "Options" on the home screen of your cell phone and select "Advanced Options".
5. Select "Applications", then scroll down the list of installed programs and highlight "Google Maps".
6. Press the "Menu" key and click "Delete".
Android-Powered Devices
7. Press "Menu" on the home screen of your device and select "Settings".
8. Select "Applications" and then "Manage Applications".
9. Scroll through the list of applications and select "Google Maps". Select "Uninstall" and confirm.
Symbian S60 devices
10. Click "Menu" and select the folder in which you store your downloaded applications. This folder may be called "Applications" or "My Own".
11. Scroll through the list of installed programs and click "Google Maps".
12. Click "Remove" and confirm.
