Calling a Malaysian Landline Phone
1. Press "011" on your cellular phone. This is the exit code for international calls made from the USA or Canada.
2. Press "60" on your cellular phone for Malaysia's country code.
3. Press the area code number that corresponds to the location in Malaysia you wish to call. Example: "3" for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor, and "4" for Kedah, Penang and Perlis.
4. Press the 6-to-8 digit phone number you intend to call on your cellular phone. Example 011 60 3 XXXXXXXX (wherein XXXXXXXX represents the Malaysian number you intend to call).
5. Press "Call" on your cellular phone to make the call. Repeat steps 1 to 4 until the call is successfully connected.

6. Press "011" on your cellular phone.
7. Press "60" on your cellular phone.
8. Press the code number that corresponds to the mobile phone service provider you wish to call. Example: "12" for Maxis mobile telephone service provider number---the most popular in Malaysia.
9. Press the 6-to-8 digit phone number you intend to call on your cellular phone. Example 011 60 12 XXXXXXXX (wherein XXXXXXXX represents the Malaysian mobile phone number you intend to call)
10. Press "Call" on your cellular phone to make the call.
